Microsoft Teams
Microsoft Teams is a unified communication platform that gives you flexibility to make and manage calls, as well as create chat groups or channels to enable more efficient, convenient team collaboration. Plus, easy access to the Microsoft Teams app allows you to organize team files, filter conversations, and schedule meetings all in one place. By evaluating your calling patterns and comparing available features, you’ll be better equipped to decide what calling options you need. Learn more about the Telephony Transformation Project.
Microsoft Teams Phone
With Teams Phone, you are able to make and receive phone calls external to the Penn State community. This capability requires that you maintain a billable phone number.
Microsoft Teams-to-Teams Calling
If you use Microsoft Teams now, you should be familiar with the convenient built-in features that enable you to search for a Teams contact, start a chat, and begin a voice or video call.
