Penn State IT is dedicated to implementing innovative solutions to support students, faculty, and staff members. We strive to find, create, and share services and training that meet the evolving technological, academic, and communication needs of the entire Penn State community. Using IT to move Penn State forward is our most important pursuit. With that goal in mind, we are committed to improving our services, cultivating our talented workforce, becoming more efficient, revamping IT infrastructures, and promoting a culture of openness and respect.

Our Mission

Penn State IT is a dynamic group of IT professionals who love technology and its power to transform. We use our collective knowledge and experience to help people, solve problems, and support Penn State’s teaching, research, and service mission.

Vice President for Information Technology and Chief Information Officer

In January 2017, Michael Kubit joined Penn State IT as the vice president for Information Technology and chief information officer. In June 2017, Kubit outlined his objectives for Penn State IT and his vision for One IT. Our Executive Leadership

Our leaders bring their own blend of expertise and experience to Penn State IT and the University. Many also hold positions of influence on committees and working groups throughout higher education and IT organizations nationwide.
